Anything is possible with your yes.

Your YES and dedication is your fee.

Stepping foot back into a gym is intimidating, especially when you have gained weight and haven’t gone in a while. Maybe the machines look intimidating and you don’t even remember what certain exercises are called anymore.

All I’m saying is that you can start here.

My Journey

The Navy

I started my career in Sasebo, Japan and stayed overseas altogether for 8 years. I left in 2012 due to budget cuts. Who in the world gets laid off from the military?!…….me.

Athlete

I was in the BEST shape of my life, or so I thought. I loved running, doing triathlons, soccer, going to the gym - anything that kept me active until I tore my ACL and meniscus in both knees in 2011.

Always Drunk (Always)

I could easily blame the Sailor culture on the INTAKE I was able to handle and still work 15 hour days for years. But that continued when I got out. I was drinking a bottle of liquor and mixing it with a liter of coke for 2 years straight.

Bad Eating Habits

I developed a “I don’t have time to cook” mentality because you know….I WAS BUSY! I ate fast food every.single.day. The guy at Burger King would call me out if I missed a day, like, “Where were you yesterday?”

April 2018

I was overworking, overspending, just over done. I was living such a cruise control life that I lost control. I lost a “hold of life” and broke down into tears and didn’t have an answer why.

The Turning Point I was sooooo angry that I “couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t figure it out” I went on emergency leave from work and flew to Costa Rica 24 hours later. I had no idea what I booked, just a random Airbnb, transportation, and boom - I…

The Turning Point

I was sooooo angry that I “couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t figure it out” I went on emergency leave from work and flew to Costa Rica 24 hours later. I had no idea what I booked, just a random Airbnb, transportation, and boom - I was on my way. The host of my airbnb was Jeff, who happened to be a mental health therapist and gave me guidance during my time there. He asked me one important question: if I was looking forward to returning to Boston. My answer was no. He told me I needed to find out why.

100lbsI’ll always say, “You need to lose the weight around you before you can lose the weight off of you.” When I retuned to Boston I got rid of a LOT of weight around me, and I found myself again. But there was one weight I needed to put aside befo…

100lbs

I’ll always say, “You need to lose the weight around you before you can lose the weight off of you.” When I retuned to Boston I got rid of a LOT of weight around me, and I found myself again. But there was one weight I needed to put aside before I can receive instruction on losing weight, which was my pride. Giving up my pride was my heaviest.

Can’t bury meI’m not saying lifting weights will change your life, but it will change your mindset of all the limitations you had up. When you realize what you can do for yourself, you’ll get back up even better. No matter what obstacle is in front …

Can’t bury me

I’m not saying lifting weights will change your life, but it will change your mindset of all the limitations you had up. When you realize what you can do for yourself, you’ll get back up even better. No matter what obstacle is in front you, when you recognize what you’re capable of in spite of people turning their backs on you, you’ll realize that you were a seed that could not be buried. All thats needed is your YES - that’s why Iron Therapy 2.0 exists, and that’s why it’ll always be FREE!
